Continuing The Journey To Callous My Mind
The lessons I learned completing 75 Hard changed my mindset and made me a stronger person, which is why I’m continuing the journey and planning to complete 75 hard phase 2. Phase 2 is the next step after 75 Hard Phase 1. The challenge will push your limits, increasing your resilience and pushing you out of your comfort zone in ways that the previous challenges have not.
75 Hard Requirements
Before diving into 75 Hard Phase 2, let’s revisit the foundation of the 75 Hard Challenge. Created by Andy Frisella, this program aims to build unshakeable mental toughness through a series of daily tasks over 75 days.
The core tasks include:
- Sticking to a diet
- Working out twice daily (one of which must be outdoors)
- Drinking a gallon of water
- Reading 10 pages of a non-fiction book
- Taking a progress photo every day
Once you’ve conquered these for 75 consecutive days, you move on to Phase 1. Then, after successfully tackling Phase 1, you’re ready for the next level: Phase 2.
Requirements of 75 Hard Phase 2
The requirements of Phase 2 are simple:
- Complete all the tasks from the original 75 Hard program for 30 days
- You must wait 30 days after finishing Phase 1 to start Phase 2
What’s the Point of 75 Hard Phase 2?
Phase 2 is designed to make you uncomfortable by breaking your routine. It’s easy to push through another day of 75 Hard when you’re deep into a routine of grinding. Phase 2 is designed to break that routine in order to make you uncomfortable.
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth
